Minimize Downtime and Save Money with our Maintenance
Plan
All of our
maintenance plans guarantee a 2-4 hour response in a system
emergency, and there are several types of maintenance plans
available based on your business’ needs whether that be 24 x7
service or just a weekday support plan.
In addition to
piece of mind, our maintenance plans also deliver our customers a
15-20% discount on labor rates, a 10% discount on parts and priority
scheduling for non-emergency service calls. Tel-Comp Solutions
encourages all of our customers to evaluate a maintenance plan for
their system.
We pride ourselves
on a prompt response to all of our customer’s needs. However, some
businesses have discovered the benefits of insuring their business
communication system against unforeseen incidents. If your
business can survive without a phone for a day then a maintenance
plan is probably not for you. If every hour your phone is down is
critical to your business it is worth evaluating a maintenance
plan.
Please call us today at 800-343-6858 to schedule a
free system evaluation!

Are your System
Batteries Prepared for the Next Power Outage?
Have you ever replaced your system
batteries? If you are not sure, then they probably
need to be swapped with brand new batteries to keep your system
operational. Most NEC systems come with gel cell batteries to
keep your system running for a ½ hour during a power outage and also
a Lithium CPU battery to retain your system programming.
NEC recommends that you replace your CPU battery every 2 years to
make sure in the event of a power outage your system doesn’t lose
its programming. Don’t wait until the spring storm season to
discover that you needed new system batteries.
If you would
like to schedule an appointment to have your batteries replaced
please give us a call today or remind us the next time that you need
a new battery when you schedule an appointment .
Helpful Hints on using your Telephone
System
In order to help our customers reduce
their service charges we will be providing a troubleshooting or
feature tip in each newsletter.
You can’t
make a phone call - Some basic things to check and who to
call:
Q: Are other phones
in your office experiencing the same
problem?
A: If yes, continue to the next
question. Otherwise this condition is most likely caused by a few
things: a bad phone, a bad jack or a feature restriction. In any of
these cases please call Tel-Comp Solutions to find out which next
step to take.
Q: Do the displays
work on the phones?
A: If yes, continue to the next
question. Otherwise this condition is most likely caused by a power
issue in the phone closet. (i.e. the system is unplugged or there is
a tripped circuit breaker, or a system failure) please call Tel-Comp
Solutions immediately for additional assistance with
troubleshooting.
Q: Can you
make an intercom call?
A: If yes, you may want to call
your carrier (Verizon, ATX, etc.) at this point to start
troubleshooting your telephone service. If you cannot
make an intercom call please call Tel-Comp Solutions and schedule an
appointment.
